More DELLA and JEREMY-Lancaster Ohio Wedding

I realized as I saw a bagpiper on tv today for St. Patrick's Day, that I had not posted any photos of Della and Jeremy's bagpiper from their wedding on Saturday. We had done a wedding with him before, and he's fantastic. His name is Jeff Linn, The Highland Piper www.Bagpiper-Jefflinn.com if you are interested in more info. I had to add a few more others from their gorgeous day too--including a shot of Della's awesome blue shoes--so awesome!

DUSTIN-Amanda Clearcreek senior photography

Here's a quick peek at Dustin's senior session. We had a gorgeous, sunny day--which has been a long time in coming. Hopefully, spring really is just around the corner. I went out to Dustin's home to do his session. I did his sister's out there a couple of years ago. It's a gorgeous location out in the country--which made the day that much more enjoyable! I did make him humor me by going to the old, abandoned house down the road--which just fascinates me( we did some of his sister's there too). It was a pleasure working with him and I'll be seeing the whole crew soon for a family session.

DELLA and JEREMY-Lancaster Ohio wedding

The word that Della's mother-in-law used to describe her on Saturday was "stunning" and I think that was the perfect description. Della is always a pretty girl--but on her wedding day she was just drop-dead gorgeous. Of course, Jeremy was no slouch himself, in his all black tux. Their wedding day, was the perfect day--starting with the weather--cause we all know that you never know what you're going to get in the middle of March in Ohio. From the time I met up with the girls at the hotel, everything was ahead of schedule--and anyone in the wedding business knows that that just never happens. Even more importantly, I don't think that I have ever worked with a more pleasant group of people. I wasn't the only one to notice it either--I had several other vendors comment on how great they had been to work with. The bride and groom were so happy and you could tell that they were enjoying their day--from start to finish--and so did everyone else. They are a great couple, who are very grounded, and this was the perfect start for their lives together. It was definitely a pleasure to work with everyone!

JOE, CARI & HAYDEN--OP LOVE SESSION

I had the pleasure of meeting Joe, Cari and Hayden today. They contacted me just the other day about doing an Op-Love Session since Joe will be deploying next week. I think we were able to capture some special moments that will be wonderful to have during their time apart. They are such a cute little family! It was a chilly day, but still bright and sunny and it was really nice to be outside again. I'm so-o-o sick of winter and snow and cold--and so-o-o ready for spring!

OP-LOVE SESSION-WAMPLER

I had the opportunity to do my second OP-LOVE session a few days ago with the Wampler & Delong families. For anyone who isn't familiar with OP-LOVE it is an organization (Operation Love Reunited or www.oplove.org) comprised of photographers who support military families by providing a family photo session for members of the military who are deploying, on-leave from deployment, or for their homecoming. If you are interested in more information, or would like more details, you can either give me a call, e-mail or visit the OP-LOVE website for all of the details.

Daniel is getting ready to deploy to Kuwait after a couple of months of training. He is very excited to be heading out. I had the chance to spend a bit of time with him and his family(and his girlfriend!) and capture some fun moments between them all. This is a sneak-peek from the session. I wish Daniel the best in his upcoming adventures and hope to get together with everyone again when the mission is complete. I had a great time with this group!

Lucky Ticket Event-This Saturday!

Another Lucky Event coming up--and you don't have to be getting married for this one! This Saturday, March 7'th is the Annual Lucky Ticket Event at Lancaster High School from 12-4. This annual event supports the Tallmadge TPO and the Lancaster Preschool Program(also located at Tallmadge). This event is always a fun event with Chinese Auction events to win lots of prizes from local companies(yours truly will be donating a gift certificate for a photo session!) and restaurants. There are also other games, a Cake Walk and lots of fun for the whole family.

Stop out Saturday and buy some tickets and get lucky! I hope to see you there!

ASHTON

How handsome is this little guy? I had the opportunity to meet Ashton and his family and do his one year old photos. This is a sneak peek from his session. He is so full of personality and he definitely has a mind of his own! The traditional Korean garb with the hat was a few too many clothes for his activity level. He didn't care to have his style cramped. We did manage to get a few in the hat--until he decided he'd had enough. Once he got into his overalls, he was ready to go again! It was a pleasure to meet you and I look forward to seeing everyone again soon!
