BRANDON OP-LOVE

I recently got a phone call from Brandon's mom who was so-o-o excited that her son Brandon was going to be coming home for a visit and wanted to set up a family session. She had learned of an organization that I am involved with, Operation Love-Reunited( www.oplove.org )which is a foundation of photographers who offer free photo sessions to members of the military who are either getting ready to deploy or returning from deployment. It's always an honor to meet these soldiers and their families--and Brandon and his family were not and exception.

We did photos of the whole family--even including grandmas. We did a lot of them with Brandon wearing his uniform, then mixed in some regular civilian attire--and finally threw in some Ohio State attire for good measure. It was a pleasure meeting and getting to work with the whole crew. Thank you all for your sacrifice and service! * The photos and other content of this publication do not constitute or imply any endorsement or recommendation by the Department of Defense.*

TRUDI, SCOTT and KIDS-Family session

I had so much fun meeting up with my friend Trudi and her family out on their farm for family photos. Trudi and I have been friends since our high school days, but lost touch for many years--the whole getting married, having kids & life happens thing. I was so happy to run into her not long ago & then get to catch up on Facebook. I was thrilled to have her ask me to come meet up with the family and do some photos. It was a beautiful autumn afternoon--and the farm is a photographer's paradise! We did photos of the whole group, the smaller groups, the kids, a few maternity photos, the dogs, and lots of fun candids! I had a wonderful time and loved getting to meet the whole family. I hope we can stay in touch!

HANNAH-Senior Photos-Part 2

Here are a few photos from Hannah's senior session--Part 2. We started on her photos a couple of weeks ago--and Ohio weather being what it is, it rained. We got lucky on round two, though--what an incredible fall day! It was warm, but not too warm--sunny, but not too sunny--all in all the perfect day!
Since we had already covered the studio stuff on Day 1, we hit lots of spots--both in my neighborhood and in Downtown Lancaster. I had so much fun with Hannah--she's so easy to work with. She's a natural when it comes to posing for the photos--definitely very comfortable in front of the camera--which makes my job fun and easy! Enjoy the sneak peek--there are tons--and I do mean tons, more to come later!

KATHRYN and MIKE- 2(Reception)

When I did the sneak peek from Kathryn and Mike's beautiful wedding at Franklin Park Conservatory the other evening, I realized that I missed something. I failed to include any photos from their reception. The whole evening was perfect--just like the wedding earlier in the evening~! From the simple, yet elegant place settings--to the last dance of the night--perfection! The details from their dessert buffet alone need to be mentioned. The desserts themselves were incredibly detailed and just downright beautiful. On top of this, you can't help but love the bling--at least I can't not love it. I found it amazing and beautiful. Of course this is coming from someone whose husband makes fun of her for her love of bright and shiny things--but hey--nothing wrong with a girl lovin' her some bling--and it looked like Kathryn shares in that love! Kathryn and Mike definitely created a wonderful celebration for their friends and family!

DYLAN-Senior Session

I'm working hard to play catch up--I know, what's new, right? Here are a few sneak peek photos from Dylan's senior session. I had lots of fun with Dylan. We started out by doing some studio shots, then headed outdoors for lots more locations. His friend met up with us halfway through the session and when I realized that she matched him so well, I had to include her in a couple of photos too! Dylan has the biggest, brightest smile--and I had a great time working with him. Enjoy the sneak peek--as usual, lots more to come later!

KATHRYN and MIKE

Perfection! That's the only word to describe Kathryn and Mike's wedding day. From the time I met up with Kathryn and the girls at her friend's incredible home that's just around the corner from Franklin Park, I knew that it was going to be a wonderful wedding experience. Once the girls were ready to go, we coordinated a special "reveal" moment with Kathryn and Mike in the bridal garden at Franklin Park Conservatory. This gave them a private (well, almost--we were there documenting it as it happened--from afar) moment to get the first look--and the first moments together before the craziness of the wedding began. After a bit of private time, we were off to get some great photos around Franklin Park. It was then back to the Conservatory to do the family and bridal party photos. We wrapped those up, then it was time for the wedding ceremony. The ceremony itself was simple and beautiful on the West Terrace of Franklin Park Conservatory just as the sun was beginning to set. After the ceremony, it was time for the cocktail hour on the upper level of the West Terrace. I'll get some incredible reception photos posted later!
