JENNA and STEVE--Engagement/Family Session at Ohio Stadium

We are down to the wire! One week until Jenna and Steve's big day!!! Jenna and Steve wanted to have their engagement photos taken at Ohio Stadium(aka The "Shoe"). I've had other sessions there, and it's always a little bit tricky to schedule--but between Jenna and Steve's schedules, my schedule and when the stadium was available--it was almost impossible. This is what led to their engagement photos being about two weeks before wedding day. They also wanted to include the family in some photos--because face it, who wouldn't want to have photos at "The Shoe." I had a great time with the whole gang--and look forward to spending a wonderful wedding day with you all next week. Stay posted for the rest of the photos in the gallery--they'll be up this weekend!

Hudson Family

I had the pleasure of photographing the Hudson and Millisor families--as well as various offshoots and groupings of both. The Hudson family is actually related to my husband's father's huge family--so I knew a few of them--but only a few. It was fun getting to know some more of the extended family, and getting to photograph them at the same time. The weather was questionable most of the day, but cooperated enough for us to get the photos taken--and allow for some time to visit with everyone too. This is just the first round of photos from the afternoon--lots more pictures to come!

PORTRAIT SITE IS DOWN!!!

I was just made aware of the fact that www.thevalerigaleri.com site is down. This is my Portrait site. I'm working to get the past website designer to take care of the re-registration of the domain name, since he has not unlocked it so I can take care of it. My main site www.valerihoffmanbradford.com is available and working--as is this blog and the Client Galleries are all available by going to www.valerihoffmanbradford.com I apologize for any inconvenience and hope to have www.thevalerigaleri.com back up as soon as I can get a response.

Hall Family

Here is the sneak peek from the Hall family photo session. I've known some of them for years--through senior photo sessions, and past family sessions. It was great to get to see them again--and get to meet some new members of the family too! We met up at Alley Park--which is one of my favorite spots in Lancaster to shoot photos. It's got so many great spots--all in one location. We did photos of the large group, individual families, and some couples as well. I hope everyone enjoys the sneak peek--lots more to come!

ISABEL-Baby session

I was so excited to see my past wedding clients and get to meet their new addition to the family! Isabel is so-o-o adorable--she's so perfect she looks like a baby doll. I really enjoyed getting to spend some time with the family--she's such a happy baby. Mom and Dad are so happy and such proud parents. I can't wait to get to work with everyone again, and get to see her grow! It's one of my favorite things about my job--getting to watch my couples grow into families and then getting to see the children grow--it's so amazing! By the way, Happy 4'th Anniversary to Isabel's mommy and daddy!

ALISON and NATHAN-Lancaster Ohio wedding photography

Here is the sneak peek from Alison and Nathan's beautiful wedding last weekend at Lancaster's First United Methodist Church. I know Alison and her family from the church. They have had the pleasure of working with our boys in Vacation Bible School--and lived through it--especially their first year, which was also the first time that the boys had ever been separated from each other and not with another family member. I hear it was quite a heartbreaking experience for the boys--at least on the first day--and I'm sure pretty traumatic for the staff--but everyone made it through! I have to admire the patience it took, though--since I know how dramatic my boys can be!

Alison and Nathan's wedding had no trauma, though. They were so relaxed and happy on wedding day--and such a pleasure to work with. They are without question, a perfect match! Every part of the wedding day was so-o-o beautiful! Alison's mother spent countless hours making sure that every last detail was absolutely perfect--and it was! There were so many cute, personal touches--from the robin's egg blue shoes to the lemon/lime slices in the centerpieces. It would not be possible to have a more beautiful wedding--from the weather, to the church, to the ceremony, to the flowers, and all of the special personal touches, it was a wedding day to remember.

Thank you Alison and Nathan for letting us be a part of your special day. I know you are going to "live happily ever after!"
