MELISSA and JEREMY-Winter Wedding at Cheers Chalet

Here is a long-awaited sneak peek from Melissa and Jeremy's beautiful winter wedding at Cheers Chalet. It was our last wedding of 2010 and was a wonderful holiday gathering for Melissa and Jeremy's family and friends. Everything about the day sparkled--from the details on Melissa's gorgeous gown and gorgeous shoes, to the sparkly snowflakes on the gorgeous cake, to the sparklers that the guests lit as Melissa and Jeremy made their getaway.

Since it was an evening wedding in the winter, and Melissa and Jeremy wanted to get some outdoor photos, they had a special "reveal" moment in front of the Christmas tree. The looks on both of their faces as they caught the first look of each other were so special--tears of joy included! Then we were out and about to capture a few outdoor photos before the last of the light was gone. Check out Melissa's Uggs for the outdoor photos--love them!

The ceremony was especially memorable as it was performed by a combination of Melissa's uncle and her father taking over once he escorted Melissa down the aisle. With a special candle lighting in memory of Jeremy's father, the unity candle and special music by Jeremy's brother and his fiancee--the sparkling theme continued.

The reception had everyone dancing away under the sparkling stars. When it was time for the bride and groom to make their escape, everyone headed outside and lit sparklers for their getaway. It was a bit windy--so it was a bit of a challenge--but still a sparkling end to a perfect wedding day!

BRADY-Senior Session

Here is a sneak peek of Brady's senior session. I should say, the first part of his senior session--because we got snowed out--a first for me. There was already snow on the ground when I headed out to Brady's house. I knew it had really come down when his mom sent me a text and told me to park my car on their lane before the creek. She had cleared a patch and came to pick me up in her 4 wheel drive. I had been out to their house for some family photos last year, and knew there would be no shortage of great spots. we got started with some of the rock formations that are gorgeous, and out in the woods--until the snow started again. It started coming down so heavily that I was getting a snow covered Brady and lots of blurry flakes in front of my lens--not to mention we were both freezing! At that point, I knew we would need to reschedule the rest of the session. At least we got some cool snow photos--and will hopefully have a warmer day to finish the session--Brady tells me there's even a waterfall on their property--so that should be fun!

EDWARD 3 months

Here's a sneak peek from baby Edward's 3 month session. He is such a cutie--I just wanted to take him home with me. He already has quite the spiffy wardrobe too--love it! Mom and Dad are wedding client's from a couple of years ago. I loved getting to catch up and meet the newest member of the family!

AMBER, CHUCK and BOYS

Here is a sneak peek from Amber, Chuck and their twin's second photo session. I am amazed with how much they have grown in the last few months. We did a few family photos and the boys weren't happy--so we rescheduled the rest of the session. On try number two they were much happier little guys--except for their peapod photos(which come to think of it is what started the unhappiness the first time). I swear they were thinking about future torment and humiliation--but how cute are they in the pod--even with those serious expressions--I love it! I wish I would have had the pod when my guys were this size. Oh well, the Steelers photos should at least make it better!

LORRIE, BRYAN and AUBREE

Here is the sneak peek from Lorrie, Bryan and Aubree's recent family photo session. As you can see, it was when we were having the gorgeous weather--prior to the snow that has now hit us. I loved being able to get in some last minute pre-Christmas sessions and get to do it in such gorgeous weather. I've known Lorrie and Bryan for quite a few years. We had the honor of photographing their wedding--I think it was 7 years ago(time flies--and I'm never good at keeping track!) but it was almost their anniversary when we did the session. We got to sneak in a few romantic couple shots along with the family photos--so Happy Anniversary and hope you enjoy the first of the photos--lots more to come!
