MORGAN FAMILY

Here is a sneak peek from the Morgan family Christmas celebration. I was thrilled to get to document their Christmas get together. I've known some of the family for many, many years--and it's great to see them--and I got the opportunity to meet lots of new members of the family. There were even some really, really new members of the family in attendance--which made it even more special. I hope the rest of the Christmas holiday season is as magical as this!

THERESA and WALTER-Columbus Oh wedding photography

Here is a sneak peek of Theresa and Walter's wedding. It was a very intimate wedding on Thanksgiving Eve(yes, I really am running that far behind--'tis the season). Theresa and Walter were high school sweethearts who went their separate ways after high school. They both married other people and had families. Their lives took lots of turns and after all of this, they reconnected and promised to stay in touch. Happily, they rekindled the romance which led them to marriage this time. With their children and families joining them, they had a very romantic wedding in their home.

Theresa and her daughters decorated themselves--and did a fabulous job. Everything was lit by candlelight and led to the intimate feel of the evening. I have to say that their Shot Bar was one of the cutest touches that I have seen at a wedding--and totally new to me--which in itself is hard to do! It was definitely a great way to start the holiday season!

STEPHANIE and ROB--Engagement Photos

In my attempt to play catch up on the blog--here is a sneak peek from Stephanie and Rob's engagement session in Youngstown last weekend. It's very strange--I had never actually been to Youngstown until a few weeks ago when we did our first engagement session up there. Now in just a few weeks time, we traveled back up there for another engagement session. Both couples are referrals from couples whose weddings we have done in Columbus(different couples).

Rob is the brother of one of our couples from this year. He gave what was the best toast/speech at his brother Brian's wedding that I have ever heard. I love getting to work again with a group of family and friends who we had such a wonderful experience with the first time around.

For Stephanie and Rob's engagement session, we again went to the Butler Museum of Modern Art. I've already become a huge fan of this place! After the Butler, we headed to Mill Creek Park to Stephanie's favorite Silver Bridge. I had a great time working with Stephanie and Rob and look forward to their wedding in April!

VIVIANNE-Senior photos

Here is a sneak peek from Vivianne's senior photo session. It was a beautiful late autumn day--gotta love the warm November days! Vivianne wanted to do most of her photos outdoors and I was more than happy to oblige. She really amused me though, she has a major fear of insects--and there were a lot out on our beautiful day. I flipped out with her on the huge one that we encountered--but even the little ones got her going--and so did the trees. I probably spent as much of our session laughing as I did shooting--sorry--but I did have a great time--and think we got some wonderful photos!

EMILY-Teays Valley Senior photography

Here is a sneak peek from Emily's senior session. Emily's sister was one of my seniors a few years back--so it was great to continue the family tradition! I had a great time working with Emily and her parents! We started out at my place and made our way into Downtown Lancaster. We hit both the Georgian and the Decorative Arts Center of Ohio--two of my favorite downtown spots. We also made sure to include her dog into lots of photos. It was a fantastic day--and we were loving the late autumn weather!
