HEATHER, BILLY and KIDS

What better for OSU-Michigan week than to share my photo session with Heather, Billy and their kids! They wanted to do some fun photos in all of their Ohio State gear--and I think they look like major fans! Of course we did some "regular" photos with the cute fall outfits too. We could not have had a more perfect day. I'm loving this Ohio weather right now--I would have to say it's been just about perfect! This session was a combo session--engagement photos for Heather and Billy who will be going away for a destination wedding in Maui--and some fun family photos for the holidays--gotta' love multi-tasking!

AMY, JON and KIDS

Here's a sneak peek from Amy and Jon's session with the kids. Another beautiful fall afternoon with some beautiful light making it's way through the remaining leaves on the trees. The kids were all wound up--which makes my job a challenge--but that's a part of the fun for me! I think we got some great photos--both of the group and some individuals of the kids--and had a good time doing it!

CORY-Watson Memorial-senior session

Here's a sneak peek from Cory's senior session. The folks at the Lancaster Country Club were gracious enough to let us come out and use their course for some of his photos--and were even kind enough to let us use a couple of carts. Cory is quite a rock-star when it comes to golf--or so I've been told--so it was only appropriate that we did some of his photos on the golf course. I had a great time with him--and his girlfriend (who just happened to be one of my '09 seniors). We even did some with the two of them together. I even learned a few new things about golf!

DANIELLE and DAN-Downtown Columbus/Grandview Engagement Photography

We had a gorgeous fall day for Danielle and Dan's engagement session. We met up at the Arch in the Arena District. We made the rounds of the downtown area from there--hitting North Bank Park and then finishing up at Goodale Park. I had a great time wandering the downtown area with them and enjoying the autumn sunshine.

EMILY--Lancaster High School Senior Photos

Since I'm still trying to get caught up--here are the awaited sneak peek photos from Emily's senior session. I have to say that Emily's adorable outfit with the red beret wins as my favorite senior ensemble for the year so far. I just love it!!! Anyone who knows me, knows that I have a thing for fashion---I would have loved to be a fashion photographer--just not gonna happen here in Lancaster, Ohio---but I can come close with some of my senior clients! I love Emily's sense of style--a little bit classic, a little bit funky--definitely a lot of fun!

I think we managed to catch the peak fall foliage--everything was just incredible--such gorgeous colors. I had a great time with Emily and her mom--and I'm still looking forward to hearing back when the vehicle you were telling me about is roadworthy for another mini-session!

TYLER--Amanda Clearcreek Senior Photos

Finally-- after getting rained out for the outdoor portion of Tyler's senior photo session on our first try--we managed to get some nice, outdoor fall photos during round two. I drove out to his house to finish up our session between his busy school and football schedule. From what I hear, Tyler is becoming quite the star player for the Amanda Clearcreek football team. Unfortunately, one of his teammates was injured during the last regular season game, but Tyler has not skipped a beat helping the team to remain undefeated for the season. Now that they are on to the post-season games, I wish them the best of luck in going all the way!

KERRY and BRIAN--Engagement Photos

Well, I'm not doing a very good job of getting caught up--but I'm trying! Here is the sneak peek from Kerry and Brian's engagement session. Jim and I headed to Youngstown after our wedding in Cadiz/Wheeling and just made a weekend of it. We had the most incredible drive over along the Ohio river with all of the fall foliage--it was just gorgeous! We met up with Kerry and Brian and started out at Mill Creek Park. That place is amazing. Not only is is huge--it has so many great spots for photos that you could definitely spend an entire day just there. Kerry and Brian tell me that we only saw a small part of the whole park.

From there we headed to the Butler Art Institute. It is on the campus of Youngstown State University. I thought that I loved the Columbus Museum of Art, but I think I may love this place even more. It's concentration is on modern art, and they have some incredible stuff. We were especially fascinated with the people--they were ultra-realistic--to the point that we all thought that the security guard in the corner was real. It was some pretty amazing stuff. I know I could easily go back and spend a whole day there checking things out in more detail.

We had an awesome time with Kerry and Brian and can't wait until next spring for the wedding!
