ELLIOT-Senior Session

Here is a peek at Elliot's senior session. We had a rainy, cold day for his session. Elliot and his mom both wanted some outdoor photos though, and he was a trooper. We headed to downtown Lancaster to some of my favorite spots with covered areas. We were able to get the best of both worlds--outdoor look--out of the rain. It didn't help the cold, but it is Ohio--sometimes you just have to make the most of what you get. I thought we got some great shots--lots more to come!

EMILY-Senior

Here is the sneak peek from Emily's senior session. We had a gorgeous day to work with. The first day we were scheduled was after one of our big summer storms. I had to reschedule because we had no electricity for 22 hours--which of course means no air conditioning--not good for the comfort level of a photo session. The really bizarre thing was that on our second try, the power went out about an hour before Emily and her mom were supposed to arrive--no storm, no nothing. I looked out and saw the AEP truck down the street--so I had confidence that we would soon have power again--and we did--less than an hour outage that time. I never did find out what happened that time.

We started out with some studio pics at my place and outdoors. After that we headed to downtown Lancaster and finished up at Emily's house. I did Emily's brother's senior pics a couple of years ago--so I already had met their dog. He's like a member of the family just like ours. He wasn't happy about coming outside for photos in the heat. He was complaining about it--literally. It's so funny how pets have their own personality. Anyway, we got some cute photos--and everyone survived the hot summer day!

AMBER

Here is a quick first look at Amber's senior session. Amber is another natural in front of the camera. I love it when someone is comfortable in front of the camera---so much easier to get those natural--and in Amber's case, amazing photos! We had a great time starting with some studio stuff, then roaming the area for some cool late autumn color. We finished up in downtown Lancaster--and it literally got dark on us. Have I mentioned how much I hate the time change and the havoc it wreaks on my schedule??? I would much rather have the extra hour on the end of my day--who cares if it's dark in the morning. I need my daylight at the end of my day!!!! Anyway, we managed to get everything in(barely) and got some great shots---even though some of them are on the edge of darkness.
