ASHLIE and BILL-Columbus Athenaeum Wedding/Worthington Inn Wedding Reception

Here are a few from Ashlie and Bill's beautiful wedding at the Columbus Athenaeum. I met Ashlie and Bill last year when Ashlie was a bridesmaid in a wedding that we photographed-- and was so happy when she called and asked me to photograph her wedding. I was even more excited when I heard their choice of locations and that they were planning a very intimate day with only their closest friends and family.

Everything turned out beautifully from the ceremony in the Priory at the Athenaeum, to the trolley that transported everyone from downtown Columbus to the Worthington Inn. The Worthington Inn was absolutely beautiful and their flower arrangements that seemed to be everywhere were nothing short of stunning. The Worthington Inn served a lunch that was as gorgeous as it was delicious. After lunch, the entertainment for the day was so fantastic that you would believe that the Rat Pack was in the house--and he kept the dance floor full! Definitely a wedding day that will live on in the memories of their friends and families!

JESSICA and BRIAN-Engagement Photos at Ohio Stadium/Ohio State Campus

Here are a few of the many, many photos from Jessica and Brian's engagement session at The Ohio State University. I had a great time with them--even considering that we started out at 8:00 a.m. last Sunday morning. We started at the horseshoe and covered a lot of territory inside the stadium. It's such a cool place to do photos--and just such a cool place to even visit. We followed that up with a walk around campus, visiting the Oval, and Mirror Lake. I am looking forward to Jessica and Brian's wedding later this month.

KAYS FAMILY

I had the opportunity to spend a bit of time with the Kays family to document a special birthday. I think we managed to capture some special moments--and have a bit of fun in the process. It was great to meet and work with you all!

KARRIE and CHRIS-Circleville, Ohio Wedding Photography

Here is a preview of Chris and Karrie's fantabulous wedding. They didn't let a few raindrops put a damper on their day. From the beautiful ceremony at St. Joseph's Church in Circleville, to a stop at the Pickaway Country Club for photos, then a trek back through downtown Circleville and on to the reception at the VFW, the raindrops were not far away. The beauty of the day was able to win out in the end--and the rain resulted in a few cute umbrella shots--and then we were clear. The evening included a marvelous dinner by Tammi Jo's Catering www.tammijos.com and a beautiful and delicious cake by Cake Dots www.cakedots.com . The night was filled with friends and family dancing the night away--definitely a perfect wedding day!

It's hard to believe that summer is halfway over. Senior season is kicking into high gear! I am so far behind on blogging--and everything else for that matter. Here is a sneak peek from Jacob's senior session. We had a great time--not to mention a gorgeous day for them.

ANN and Ed OP LOVE-photo session at Dawe's

In keeping with the spirit of the 4'th of July holiday, here are a few photos from Ed and Ann's pre-deployment session that we did at Dawe's Arboretum. Ed will be heading out next week for an overseas tour of duty, so we got in a quick, last-minute session. Thank you to Ed and all of the others who make it possible for us to celebrate the 4'th! I hope everyone has a happy and safe 4'th of July weekend!
