Winter Carnival

It has been so-o-o long since I posted anything--I decided to try to play catchup! We had a fun couple of hours at the Main Street Lancaster Winter Carnival back before Christmas. The boys got to visit with Santa, play some games and jump in the bouncy house. We all took a very chilly ride on the carriage ride with our friends from Country Carriages from Circleville. We usually only get to photograph them in action(as wedding transportation for our couples)--so it was fun to actually get to partake of a ride with the family for a change. The boys wrapped up the day with some sledding and snowboarding back home--and I got a few Christmas photos(one to make the family Christmas card--just in time to make it out a couple of days before Christmas!)

S.C.I. Party

Here are a few photos from the SCI Christmas Party. We had a great time. It was my first adult evening out since I can't remember when(other than when we're working)! Now it's back to work and back to the kids activities!

Gift of Time

Friday evening the boys kicked off their Christmas season at Tallmadge with the Gift of Time event. They had fun participating in craft activities, visiting with their friends, and getting to spend a little time with Santa. A big thank you to Mrs. McCance and all of the teachers and volunteers who made the event such a success!

I had a fantastic time with Crystal's senior session! She was up for trying some new spots that I had been wanting to use--and of course we went with some of my favorites . We also tried a few ideas that she had-- and between us we came up with some great stuff! I'm sure her boyfriend (who came along) wished we wouldn't have had so many great ideas. Here are a few--with lots more to come!

LAUREN AND KEVIN-Wedding at The Darby House

Here are a few from last weekend's wedding at the Darby House. I always thought the Darby House was beautiful in the light of day. The scenery is just breathtaking. It's just as gorgeous at night. The carriage to transport guests from their cars to the main building was a very festive touch for the season. Lauren and Kevin had a beautiful ceremony performed by Rodger Williams(the Marryin' Man) followed by a great party reception in the awesome atmosphere--with a great time had by all!

We trekked all over the area for Kaitlyn's senior session. It was a gorgeous day--most of the time anyway. I can't believe how many pretty leaves we were still able to find. Kaitlyn is an outdoorsy girl, so I was happy that the weather was cooperative--and we even hunted down some requested rocks!

Lancaster Holiday Parade 11-17-2007

Finally, after another crazy week, here are some photos from the Lancaster Holiday Parade. We had a great time watching and seeing lots of friends. There were some awesome floats, great bands and it was just an all round good time to kick off the holiday season. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving(we sure did) and I look forward to the upcoming Christmas season. TYLER-Amanda Clearcreek High School Senior pictures

The seniors keep coming and unbelievably the leaves keep holding on. Tyler wasn't too into the whole Senior Photo thing. I don't think it ended up being as bad as he expected(was it?). I even got some smiles-- even though he says he doesn't smile--that should make mom happy!
