BRIE and KIRK-New Albany Wedding

Here is a sneak peek from Brie and Kirk's wedding. They have the most fabulous, exciting love story and their wedding day just made it that much better. The wedding and reception were held at the gorgeous home of Brie's parents. Brie and Kirk met when they both had taken off to explore the world and both ended up working together in New Zealand. They hit it off instantly, and the rest is history. Kirk is from England, and he came back to the United States with Brie and they began planning their life together.

The ceremony was by the pond--which was absolutely beautiful. From there, they moved to the back of the house for the tented reception, with wonderful food catered by none other than Brie's mother. Brie and Kirk and the guests danced the afternoon and evening away with a special song list provided by Brie and Kirk including lots of music from Kirk's homeland--to the delight of all of his family who had made the trek from England to share in the big day. The evening wrapped up with a gorgeous sunset. I'm sure this is just the beginning of a wonderful life full of adventure for the two of them!

MISSY and JEFF-Buffalo Falls Wedding

Here is a quick look at Missy and Jeff's wedding last weekend at Buffalo Falls Lodge in Hocking Hills. Buffalo Falls is a brand new facility--just opened this year http://www.buffalofallslodge.com/index.html
It is beautiful--definitely a gorgeous location for a wedding. Missy and Jeff and their friends and family came from West Virginia. They definitely made a party of it! What a wonderful group of people to work with!

It was a day of firsts for me. As well as being the first time for a wedding at Buffalo Falls, it was also the first time that I ever had a bride dance down the aisle for her processional. It was so cute! She and her brother had a whole routine--and the groom was as surprised as the guests(especially the ones that found themselves a part of the routine). It was awesome!

After the ceremony, they had a fantastic dinner catered by The Olde Dutch Restaurant from Logan--with the cutest cake for desert. The rest of the evening consisted of volleyball, cornhole and dancing--along with a lot of partying. We had a great time being a part of the big day!

TARA and MATT-Lancaster Ohio Wedding photography

Tara and Matt's wedding was a total change from our wedding the day before. It began with a lovely ceremony at Lancaster's First Presbyterian Church attended by more than 400 of their family and friends. Then it was off to the reception which was held at Matt's parent's farm. The setting was beautiful with their reception tent set up on the crest of a hill down a long lane. There was a brief rain shower that made everyone a little nervous. It didn't last long, though--and after a few showers the skies cleared and they had a wonderful evening. They had a combine set up outside the tent that we had some fun with for photos--and the guests loved it! As it got dark, the lighting in the tent gave it a wonderful ambiance as everyone danced the night away!
