HANSON FAMILY/MATERNITY

Our wave of unusually warm weather for Ohio allowed us to step outside for a part of the Hanson family/maternity photo session. It's not very often that I get the opportunity to do photos outside in January--without coats anyway--and I'm loving it! Unfortunately, it's now come to an end--and winter is here--but I'm hoping for a repeat of the warmth very soon--fingers are crossed!

I had so much fun working with these guys--which should come as no surprise since I photographed their wedding and have some fun, crazy memories from that day. I really enjoyed getting to add the grandparents for the maternity session--something totally new to me--and I think it really added something to the session. Of course big sis and big brother were too cute--and they loved hamming it up for their first photos with "Peanut." Can I also add that it just isn't fair to look as great as Michelle does with baby number 3 on the way.

I wish them nothing but the best with the upcoming latest addition to the family. Enjoy the sneak peek--there are lots more to come!

ALEXIS-3 weeks

How sweet is baby Alexis? She was such an adorable little one. She is so alert and active too for such a young one. She didn't want to miss out on anything that was going on. She was a very agreeable subject also--didn't seem to mind some of the poses that we put her into, even when she was awake. I got to try out a new prop & mommy had all kinds of cute things. I do love photographing little girls with all their fun girly things--makes up for my all male household! Enjoy the sneak peek--there are lots more to come!

JESSICA, BRIAN and CALEB

A sneak peek from Jessica, Brian and Caleb's session. When I first arrived, they just wanted to do some photos of baby Caleb--but I talked them into some family pics too--after all, this is their first Christmas season with the whole family--and a cute little family they are! Of course, I'll give them the fact that baby Caleb is just the most adorable, sweetest little thing--and I am partial to his name :-)

KIRKPATRICK FAMILY

Here is a sneak peek from a session that I did with the Kirkpatrick family. They are another of my wedding client couples--from quite a few years ago. As you can see, they have added 4 beautiful(and handsome) additions to the family--the most recent is so tiny. The girls even gave me some handmade Christmas ornaments to take home--one of my favorite Christmas things in the world! I loved working with them all--what a great family!

NATASHA and DOUG-Wedding at Alley Park

Here is a preview of Natasha and Doug's beautiful wedding at Alley Park here in Lancaster. Alley Park is one of the most beautiful locations in the area for a wedding. You may remember Natasha and Doug's beautiful color in their engagement photos a month or so ago that we did at Hargus Lake. Their wedding colors and decor carried out this whole autumn theme perfectly. Since we got the best of the best for the engagement session, it took a little work to find some awesome fall color actually left on the trees. We did manage to find some, though. Natasha and her bridesmaid's bouquets definitely helped add some color to the day--and the decorating of the Alley Park Lodge and the tables was perfect!

We had a nice warm day(for November anyway) day to get outside for most of the photos--which always makes me happy. I love shooting outside--and just love Alley Park in general. It was a beautiful day, a beautiful wedding, and a wonderful(and gorgeous) couple--who are a perfect match. It was a perfect way to complete my wedding season for this year! I loved being a part of the celebration and wish them years and years of happiness!

SHAWN-Senior Session

I was so excited to be able to find a bit of bright fall color left for Shawn's senior session. We did a few studio pics--then headed out and about for the rest of the session. We hit downtown Lancaster to take advantage of some beautiful fall foliage, and the Georgian. After that we hit Lancaster High School to include some of Shawn's woodworking projects--something fun and different! We managed to sneak in Rising Park for a few--and ended up in the creek for some final pics before dark. I had a great time working with Shawn and his dad--enjoy the results--tons more pics to come!
