CLAIRE and EUGENE-Wedding
Here's the preview of the photos from Claire and Eugene's wedding day. It seems like just yesterday we were meeting to discuss their wedding. The summer has flown past and it's wedding day! I met up with Claire at the church and she was already deep into having her hair and makeup done. From there it was a quick lunch and time to get into the gorgeous wedding gown. She informed me that this would only be the first gown of the day. This is only the second time that I've ever had a three gown wedding day--changing into an evening gown or more casual wedding gown for the reception has become a bit more common--but she had a traditional Chinese gown to add to the mix for their getaway. The only thing traditional about it was the red silk patterned fabric. The halter style was absolutely stunning--Claire was definitely leaving with as big of an exit as she came in with her entrance down the aisle!
The wedding day went perfectly. The ceremony was beautiful, followed by a receiving line that we turned into an impromptu photo booth session. We were able to capture quick group photos as their guests made their way through the line. We ventured into the beautiful chapel(which was the original Dublin Community Church) for some photos with some beautiful natural light after all the traditional photos were taken in the main sanctuary. After the photos we were off to the Sunflower Restaurant for one of the most delicious meals that I've had in a long time. They served the dinner family style and I got to try some new fabulous dishes, along with some favorites.
After dinner it was time to cut the cake and then one of my favorite Asian wedding traditions. Claire and Eugene made their way around to each of the guest tables to greet their guests, thank them for sharing their special day, and have a toast with them. I think that's a wonderful way to get to spend a bit more time with all of the wedding guests! We loved getting to spend the day with Claire and Eugene, along with their family and friends and wish them the best!
