Here are the first of many photos from Katie and Nick's beautiful wedding at the Gallaher Estate in Norwalk, CT. They win the prize for the furthest distance that I've traveled to photograph a wedding. I had a wonderful weekend celebrating their wedding with them--it was an awesome trip. They have been together since they were teenagers and are so much in love that you can't help but smile when you see them together---definitely a perfect match if there ever was one!
Speaking of perfect--their wedding day was just that. First off the weather was fantastic--sunny and warm--but not too warm. The location was nothing short of beautiful--a mansion in the country on grounds full of beautiful spring flowers--who could ask for anything more? Katie's dress was gorgeous--it looked like it was made for her! Then there were all the little details--from the flowers, to the personal vows and readings, to the awesome Indian food, the signature cocktail, the awesome toasts, and the lemur couple on the top of their cake. It was so personal--and so them!
It was an honor to share such a wonderful wedding day with you all! I hope the future holds many more days that are just as perfect!
