ELIZABETH and RYAN
Elizabeth and Ryan's wedding was a road trip for us to Youngstown, Ohio--but nothing compared to their trip from Austin, Texas. We had the pleasure of sharing the evening before the wedding with them at their rehearsal and rehearsal dinner--and got to meet a lot of their family and friends. I would like to thank all of them for making us feel like a part of the family. I can honestly say that they were one of the nicest families that we have ever had the pleasure to work with.
The wedding was at the beautiful Canfield United Methodist Church and the reception was at the Squaw Creek Country Club. It was a gorgeous day from start to finish. The reception had to be one of the best ever. The band(The Look) kept the guests dancing all night long with their fabulous mix of music. Thank you to Elizabeth and Ryan(and your families). I hope every day of your married life is as good as the first!

ALLISON and JOSH-Engagement Session at Franklin Park Conservatory
I received an e-mail from Allison's mom several months ago about setting up an engagement session. The greatest part was that Allison wasn't engaged yet. She told me that Josh was going to pop the question while they were away on vacation--and she knew that the answer would be yes. It had to be one of the cutest stories that I've heard in a while. Fast-forward a few months. She said yes (of course) and we planned the session. Unfortunately, our lovely Ohio weather did not cooperate with our plans. At the last minute we changed our location to Franklin Park Conservatory--where the weather is always wonderful :-)
I had a wonderful time with them. Josh and Allison are such a cute couple! I look forward to having the opportunity to photograph their wedding next year. In the meantime, I hope that they take me up on my offer to ride down on Josh's motorcycle and get a few of the photos that we couldn't do at the Conservatory!

ANGEL and SHANE-Wedding in Lancaster
Angel and Shane are one of the happiest couples that I've ever had the pleasure to work with. Their wedding day was filled with joy for them, their families & their friends. They are one of those couples who were just made for each other. The whole day was perfect. I loved Angel's blue accents with the jewelry, flowers and especially her blue shoes! The ceremony was at First United Methodist Church--which is incredibly beautiful(not being partial just because it's our church also--and where we got married) and the ceremony was just perfect.
The only thing that was in question was whether or not the weather was going to cooperate and allow us to get the photo of Angel and Shane with all of their guests on the church steps after the ceremony. As they were getting ready for their first kiss, I peeked outside and was so excited to see that the rain had stopped. They were going to get their photo! We quickly got everyone out on the steps and got the photo before the rain had a chance to start again.
After the rest of the photos at the church, we were off to the reception at Crossroads Event Center. Everything there was fantastic too. They had some fabulous uplighting and the scrollwork on the screens and around the dance floor were nothing short of incredible. The best man, whose wedding we had the pleasure of photographing a few years ago gave one of the best toasts that I've heard(and that's saying something). After dinner, everyone danced the night away--until their closest friends and family escorted them out to see them off in their crazily decorated getaway car. Hopefully, they're getting the good weather that we're not on their honeymoon!
