Here are a few photos from Melissa and Shane's fun, fabulous wedding day. We started out at Stuart's Opera House in Nelsonville--which is a fabulous location for a wedding--as well as a great place to see a show. Melissa and Shane's wedding did not disappoint. They were married on the stage and incorporated lots of unique touches. My favorite was the lock box, where they enclosed letters written to each other telling why each of them fell in love with the other. These letters were then locked in a box along with a bottle of wine. They are to stay locked until they either have a disagreement that needs them to take the time to remember why they were married in the first place--or if this doesn't happen, they can share the wine and letters as part of their anniversary celebration. After the wedding, we tried to get some photos out on the square--but the weather was only cooperative for a few. From there, it was off to the reception at The Brass Ring. This is where Melissa and Shane met, so it holds special meaning. After a wonderful dinner, we were able to escape outside for a few photos on the gorgeous grounds. Rick Cox provided the music and kept the dance floor full all night. It was party time--and quite a party it was!
