TARA and TONY--Wedding at Glenlaurel

Here's a sneak peek from Tara and Tony's lovely, intimate wedding at Glenlaurel in the Hocking Hills. When I say intimate, I mean intimate--it was Tara and Tony, Connie who performed the ceremony, and me--taking the photos. When they arrived in their convertible VW Bug, I knew we were going to have fun! Their ceremony was in a beautiful spot under the shade of the trees on a very hot, but lovely early evening. After their beautiful ceremony, we wandered the grounds of Glenlaurel for some beautiful photos. We had to hit my absolute favorite spot at Glenlaurel--the swing in the grove of trees! Tara does some modeling, so she was a dream to work with--and together, she and Tony make such an adorable couple. I loved getting to share in such a beautiful and intimate time for Tara and Tony and wish them the best!

DANIELLE and DAN-Wedding at Heritage Golf Club

Danielle and Dan's wedding day was like two weddings in one. We started out with a traditional tea ceremony at the home of Danielle's uncle. The girls all wore traditional tea ceremony gowns--and they were incredible. After the very intimate ceremony for the two families, we did some family photos at the house, and had a yummy lunch. From there, we headed to Heritage Golf Club in Hilliard. There, the girls did a complete clothing and hair change and we were ready for more photos. After all of the photos were done, it was time for ceremony number two. Danielle and Dan exchanged their vows in the garden site at Heritage--and it was absolutely beautiful in the gorgeous, sunny early evening.

After the ceremony, Jody and her crew at Heritage took over--first with a cocktail hour, during which we did some more photos. Then it was dinner time--and it was nothing short of incredible. After dinner, Danielle and Dan cut their cake, which looked more like a piece of art than a wedding cake. The rest of the evening was devoted to the party. The dance floor was full all night long. What a fantastic wedding day!

Matthew, Amanda and Kids-Op Love Session

I had the pleasure of working with Matthew, Amanda and their boys for an Operation Love-Reunited session recently. This is the organization of which I am a part, that provides a free photo session to deploying or recently deployed members of our military(www.oplove.org to get all the details). Matthew just came home from deployment overseas, and I was honored to be able to capture some photos of him with his family. The smallest member of the family wasn't too happy at first, after being awakened from a nap on the drive here. Once he was wide awake, we were able to get some happy photos with the rest of the family, and especially playing with his brother. I have to thank our dog Jakeybob for helping to get him to that point. He was headed out for a walk, and stopped to entertain the kids for a few minutes.

KERRY and BRIAN-Wedding in Youngstown

At long last, here is the sneak peek from Kerry and Brian's fabulous wedding. I met Kerry a couple of years ago when she was a bridesmaid in her friend's wedding and was thrilled when she called me to photograph hers. We headed up to Hubbard, Ohio for the ceremony at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. It had some of the coolest stained glass--very bright and modern--and great for photos.

After the ceremony, I jumped on the trolley with Kerry and Brian and their wedding party and we headed to Buhl Park in Sharon, PA for some photos. Avalon Golf and Country Club, where the reception was held, has several locations--and their location was in Buhl Park--absolutely beautiful. The site could only be outdone by the decorations. Kerry went with a tropical theme, and since the reception was held poolside, it worked amazingly well. She carried on her tropical colors in the linens, centerpieces, even the drinks all had a tropical touch.

They danced the night away with the music of a band that could mix it up--with lots of reggae thrown into the mix--to enhance the tropical feel even more. Before we took off for the night a couple of groomsmen had already ended up in the pool. I can't wait until they return from Jamaica and I get to hear the final pool count!
