Wow! What a day! The first thing that stands out about Amanda and Jon's wedding are the details. She had some of the most amazing touches that I have ever seen--and after hundreds of weddings(I may have even hit a thousand by now--I'll have to try to go back and count them sometime--when I have some spare time :) )--that is definitely saying something! Everything was absolutely beautiful. The garden area at The Columbus Museum of Art was the original ceremony site and it was gorgeous. However, just before ceremony time, one of our far too frequent thunderstorms blew in and it had to be moved indoors. The rain didn't dampen the excitement and beauty of the day and with the move indoors, the evening went on helped in part by Kerry from KL Wedding Designs www.klweddingdesigns.com The guests were entertained by a bagpiper leading Amanda and her father down the aisle, and three bands--including a guest appearance by the Buckeye Brass(a surprise for Jon) playing Buckeye favorites and really getting the crowd going. The incredible cake was a design by Jan Kish www.jankishlepetitefleur.com Amanda and Jon, along with their families and friends danced the night away ending with a sparkler exit. We followed them further into downtown to steal a few romantic portraits of just the two of them with the awesome Rolls Royce from Cardinal Transportation www.cardinaltransportationltd.com before calling it a night!

FATHERS DAY
I realized that I never posted any of our photos from Father's Day. We spent it, as we do many summer holidays and celebrations at the family cottage at Buckeye Lake. The boys always make their dad and grandpa handmade cards. I shot the photos for the cards to their specifications and they took over from there. The Ohio State photo is for Grandpa's card--since he is one of the Buckeye's biggest fans. The Ohio University is for Dad--since he is an Ohio University alumni. We had a great time at the lake--grilling and boating, and swimming(for the boys anyway).

DESTROYERS GAME 6-14-2008
Since my wedding canceled out on me last week, we had the chance to go to a Columbus Destroyers game. Our friends had season tickets and the boys had been wanting to go. The one guarantee with this job is, I know that I will be working almost every weekend. We took the weekend off as a chance to go to the last game of their season. The boys had a fantastic time(and I do mean ALL of the boys) and I enjoyed a weekend night out doing something new. After the game, the boys got to meet some of the players and cheerleaders and get some autographs.

KRISTIN and TYLER-Hocking Hills Wedding Chapel
We had the pleasure of photographing Kristin and Tyler's wedding on Monday at the Hocking Hills Wedding Chapel www.valleyviewcabins.com It was an interesting day weather-wise that had everyone on pins and needles as the ceremony time approached. We had sunshine, then rain, then sunshine, then rain as everyone finished their preparations. As is usually the case(at least in my experience), the sun broke through and Kristin and Tyler had an absolutely beautiful wedding. They literally spent the evening dancing under the stars with their friends and family. Here are a few sneak peeks from their big day--with tons more to come!

JESSICA and ADAM-Kenyon College Wedding Photography
We had the opportunity to photograph a wedding in a totally new(to us) location this weekend. Jessica and Adam's wedding took us to the campus of Kenyon College. From start to finish, it was a wonderful day. The threat of showers hung over us all day--but great(but hot) weather prevailed. I could have easily spent another day just getting to explore the campus further--but Jessica got us up to speed on some of the many highlights. It was a beautiful day for a wonderful couple!
