COLUMBUS BRIDE SPRING SUMMER 08
The new spring/summer issue of Columbus Bride is out. I was very excited to have two of my couples featured in this issue. This was my first time submitting any images to this magazine--so it's very exciting to see them in print. Katie and Steve and Dena and Jay were both awesome couples to work with --it's hard to believe it's been almost a year ago. They both had absolutely beautiful weddings and I'm happy to have shared and captured some wonderful memories from both of their wedding days. It was definitely a pleasure to have the opportunity to work with you all!
On a side note, if anyone needs a copy of the new issue of Columbus Bride, feel free to contact me and we can make arrangements to get it to you.

Easter
Well, Easter has come and gone and I decided I'd better post a few photos before everyone thinks that I fell off the face of the earth. It's been a rough few weeks. I've had the worst case of the flu that I've had in I can't remember how long. I thought I was all better last weekend and made it through the Easter egg hunt at our house(as you can see, Jakeybob wanted to hunt sticks, not eggs). After the egg hunt, I was back on the couch, and down with round two. I'm better today, but still not 100%. I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter and I'm going to do my best to post some new photos here soon.

Susie Crook
I received some very sad news yesterday. Susie McMackin Crook passed away Friday evening, ending her battle with cancer. We met Susie when she became our kid's first preschool teacher at Lancaster Montessori. Although the Montessori experience did not work out too well for my kids--who just need more structure--Susie left a lasting impression on them. After the school year, we had the pleasure of photographing Susie's wedding to the love of her life, Andy Crook. Even though Andy had to check out of the hospital to be able to attend his own wedding, nothing dampened the love between the two of them. I got to witness firsthand the number of lives that Susie touched throughout her life. I couldn't believe how many of her past students were in attendance--a true tribute! Ironically, she passed away on the eve of what was to have been a final tribute--and fundraiser for the school--which had to be cancelled due to the snowstorm. If you are interested in updates when it is rescheduled, you may visit the site http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/susiecrook

AMY and ROGER-Lancaster Ohio wedding
A Leap Year Wedding! What an idea--to only celebrate your anniversary once every four years! A perfect idea for the guys who can never remember their anniversary! I did ask Amy and Roger about it--but they will celebrate every year--just a day early. They had a lovely winter evening for their intimate wedding with family and close friends. I can 't get over their kids--they all look and act like they have been together forever--what a match! Their ceremony was followed by a lovely reception hosted by Roger's mother. All in all a perfect evening--at least until my car got stuck in the mix of snow and icy mud as I was leaving! Thank you to the few remaining guests who were kind enough to get me unstuck!!!
