AVA and MADDIE

For those of you who know me, you know that I have twin boys who keep me on the go! They are so much fun and I wouldn't trade them for anything...but....I love getting to work with little girls. They are such a contrast to what I'm used to. Maddie and Ava were no exception! We did have to reschedule part of the session because someone was tired and wasn't feeling cooperative the first day. On the second round, they were so much fun. I went to their home this time(which usually makes for more comfortable little ones) and took some fun props. We played on the ladder with the apples and climbed the apple tree, played on their swingset, picked some flowers and other fun things--and it all resulted in some awesome, fun photos!

BEVERLY and WILLIAM-Wedding

Beverly and William were an absolute joy to work with. Their mutual love of music brought them together and they are a perfect match! Beverly is originally from Lancaster, but has lived in the Cleveland area for a number of years, and is where she and William met. They decided to get married in Lancaster and I'm happy that they did! Their wedding was at St. Paul's which is Beverly's home church. After a beautiful ceremony at the perfect time of day with sunlight streaming though the stained glass windows, they were off to Henry Manor for their reception. It was a wonderful, intimate reception with them having the chance to mingle with friends and family. If you've never experienced an event at Henry Manor, you're definitely missing out! It is one of the most beautiful locations in Lancaster, and their food is some of the best in town!

After the Lancaster event, they were hosting another reception back home in Cleveland. I definitely wish them the best. It was a pleasure!

JANIENE and GARRETT-Wedding

It was so much fun capturing Janiene and Garrett's special day at the Western Reserve Historical Society in Cleveland, Ohio. We photographed Janiene's sister's wedding a few years ago in Columbus, so I was happy to get a call from Janiene with her big news--and excited to head to Cleveland! I love visiting Cleveland, but had never had the opportunity to visit the museums at Western Reserve before. The first thing I thought of when we entered and started walking around was how much the boys would love the place. It's a wealth of historic items from the Western Reserve area. It's definitely a return destination! Janiene and Garrett got ready in one of the mansions and were planning on having their wedding ceremony in the garden. Ohio weather being what it is, we got rain and that moved everything into the gallery. We did have a small window of time to go out into the garden and grab a few photos--which made me happy--the gardens are especially beautiful!

After the ceremony, it was party time and time to move into the Crawford Auto Museum for the cocktail hour. This gave all of Janiene and Garrett's guests the chance to walk around the museum and check out all of the totally cool cars in the collection. I did find out that their event was the last to be held in the auto museum for at least a year. It's going to be closed for renovation--which is kind of a bummer--the boys would love that too!

After cocktail hour, it was time to head upstairs for dinner and dancing. The dance floor was jam-packed the whole evening. Janiene and Garrett's wedding will definitely be a unique wedding to remember for all their friends and family. I'm happy we were able to be a part and capture some of the beauty and fun!
