JESSICA and ALEX-Wedding at Cheers Chalet

Here's the sneak peek from Jessica and Alex's beautiful autumn wedding and reception at Cheers Chalet here in Lancaster. I loved all of the warm fall colors and all of the gorgeous details that they chose for their special day. Cheers was a fabulous choice of locations to enhance the whole autumn theme. Even with all of the strong winds that we had, we still managed to find some beautiful fall color. I think Jessica and Alex are just a gorgeous couple. I didnt' have the opportunity to meet them until their wedding day, and was amazed that they "match" so well--like a model couple--just so photogenic--which I of course, love! JUSTIN-Senior Session

I've been swamped with sessions, editing and retouching, and basketball--not a free moment to be found--and wa-a-ay behind on my blogging. Here is a first look at Justin's senior photo session. I met up with Justin and his mom at Dawe's Arboretum in Newark. I love Dawe's because it's a great location to get lots of different looks all in one location--and is just incredibly beautiful. We had a beautiful end of fall day--gorgeous sunshine, and still some nice color left on the trees(at least some of them). I photographed Justin's sister last year for her senior year--and this year Justin is right behind her. I had a great time with Justin--he's quite the comedian--definitely got some entertainment to go along with my shooting :-) It was great working with you(and getting to see mom again). BETHANY, TOM and LUKE-Family session

Here is a sneak peek from Bethany, Tom and Luke's family session. I worked with Bethany and Tom several years ago when I photographed their beautiful wedding at Glenlaurel Inn down in the Hocking Hills. It was great to meet up with them and their new addition to the family at Inniswood Metro Gardens to get some great family photos. It took Luke a while to warm up to the whole photo session idea--and a while to warm up in general--it was a chilly morning, for sure! He wanted to explore--and there was plenty to see on this lovely end of autumn day. He chased squirrels and found some awesome leaves--and had a great time in the Sister's Garden area for children at the park. Enjoy the sneak peek--lots more to come!

KATIE-Senior Session

And here's the sneak peek from the senior portion of our combo family/senior session at Ohio University Lancaster. Lots more of that beautiful morning light on the sunny autumn day--with awesome fall color. It just doesn't get any better than this---other than Katie's awesome pink wardrobe choices. With all of the pink, and some leopard thrown in for good contrast, she's a girl after my own fashion heart! Loved it--great time with the whole crew! Enjoy the preview--lots more to come!

FOWLER FAMILY

Here is the sneak peek from the Fowler family photo session. We actually did a combo family/senior session. We had a beautiful day to meet up at Ohio University Lancaster for the session. We started out early in the morning and had some wonderful light to go with the beautiful fall color on the trees. I've worked with these guys a number of times from weddings, to family sessions, to kids, and seniors and they are just one of the best groups of people that I've had the opportunity to work with. WILLIAMS FAMILY

Here's the sneak peek from the William's family session at Alley Park. We had an extremely windy(and quite chilly) day for our session. It was hard to keep the hair under control--got some great shots--but some of them just didn't make the cut--hair standing straight up just isn't a good look. The wind also took a lot of the leaves (and fall color) from the trees. I guess it's good that it was a weird year for the leaf change, and there were still plenty of green ones left to change later. LAURA, GEORGE, and FAMILY

Here's the sneak peek from Laura and George's family session at Creekside in Gahanna. Creekside is one of my favorite spots to shoot in the Columbus area. I love the mix of nature and modern architecture--you can get lots of cool looks all at one location. The waterfalls--both the natural and manmade are just awesome! I photographed Laura and George's wedding a few years back--so it was great to hear from them and get to photograph the whole crew. They managed to get the out-of-towners together and there were some new additions to the family since I'd last worked with them--and they were cuties for sure! SARAH, JULIAN and ANDERSON-Family Session

I met up with Sarah, Julian and little Anderson at Creekside to do a little family session and some new photos of their little cutie. It was my last session of a 4 session day--and it was great to work with them--they're always a lot of fun! We got some family shots and then got Anderson into some quick clothing changes--and he was a trooper. He's such a happy little guy and has the cutest smile ever! Enjoy the results!
