Michael was another senior who was a blast to work with. He's very into music--so we had to use his trombone for a prop for a lot of photos. Can you tell that I loved the hat? It's so cool to have a guy wear a hat--that's not a baseball hat--for a change! I think it's a great look. He is also a skateboarder--so it was fun to catch some action shots--along with the usual posed ones, of course. Michael's another great young man--and it was a great session!
I had a fantastic day with Olivia shooting her senior session! I just did her sister's session last year and we actually scheduled Olivia's session when her sister's was completed--gotta love planning ahead. I have to say that these are a couple of great--not to mention beautiful--girls! It was a pleasure to work with everyone again!
I had the pleasure of meeting up with some old friends from my photo past-- and catch up with all of the new additions to the family. I photographed a family wedding several years ago and this was one of the greatest groups that we've had the pleasure to work with! Needless to say when I got a call to do some family photos, I was more than happy to get them scheduled. They are just as fun as they were before, there are just more of them. One of my biggest pleasures as a photographer is getting to stay in contact with my past clients and see the changes and watch the family grow. What a bunch of cuties have joined the family. I had a great time!
I am editing and trying to get things posted like a madwoman! I know I have a lot of clients who are excited to see some photos from their session. I promise I'm working as fast(and as many hours) as I possibly can! Here is just a sneak peek at a few from Faye's senior session. Faye was a lot of fun to work with--and how cute is her kitty? He couldn't decide if he wanted to hide or be the star of the photo session.
We met up with Allison and Ralph at the Columbus Renaissance to start out their photos in downtown Columbus. I had not been to the Renaissance since the remodel a while back, and all I can say is-- Wow! I love how modern and bright it is now--a total makeover! We hit the streets with each of them separately--along with their bridal party--and explored the streets and alleys around downtown. Then it was time to head over to Confluence Park for the ceremony and reception. They had a beautiful ceremony outside on the deck overlooking the downtown skyline--absolutely beautiful! After that, it was around the site for more photos. After a yummy dinner, it was party time--and party they did! It was another night with a full dance floor all night long--and a view of the skyline as a backdrop to the whole party.
A few from Ryan's senior session last week. I'm running so far behind on posting some of the recent seniors--and other things for that matter. I'm trying to play catch up! Ryan was great to work with. I loved his bike--and when he brought along his guitar, I asked for advice--since that was what one of my guys asked for, for his birthday(thanks for the referral to Signature Music, by the way--we went there and it was a great experience!). Ryan really impressed me. He seems to be a very grounded young man with some great talent--I predict he'll go far!
