CHRISTINA-Lancaster Ohio senior photos

After getting rained out several times, we finally made it out to do Christina's senior photos. We got a beautiful fall day--so it was well worth the wait!

KELLIE AND BEN

It's become an annual tradition for Kellie and Ben to do their family photos with their adorable dogs every fall to use for Christmas card photos. Of course the dogs want to do everything but have their photos taken--there are much more exciting things to investigate in the great outdoors. Here are a random few--with pets--just like little kids, you have to take a lot, just to get the few great ones. I have a ton to view before that final edit!

LAURA-Teays Valley Senior photography

What do you do when you want summer and fall senior photos--and want curly and straight hair in the photos? You do two senior sessions. We just did session 2 of Laura's senior photos and got some of the gorgeous fall color that she was looking for. Here are a few from session 2, and of course Session 1 is already posted on-line in the Client Galleries.

VALERIE Senior Session

It's not very often that I get to photograph another Valerie. I spent an afternoon at her family's farm. We had a beautiful fall day and lots of cooperative cats and horses. It was definitely a memorable senior session!

KENNEY FAMILY

As a mother of twins I know what a handfull they can be. I had the pleasure of meeting the Kenney family--with twins plus one --what a bunch of cuties they are! I had lots of fun exploring with them on a beautiful fall morning!

Ohio vs Eastern Michigan

We had a great time last weekend at Ohio University. It was Homecoming Weekend and we took the boys to see the football game between Ohio University and Eastern Michigan University. The Bobcats won but it was quite a game! Afterwards we walked around on campus and gave the boys a bit of a tour. We then at at the best Mexican restaurant that I have ever eaten at--Casa Nueva on West State Street, near Court St. They use all fresh and mostly locally grown ingredients--and you can tell--and I consider myself to be a bit of a Mexican food snob. It is definitely a place we will go back to--and I highly recommend!

2007 Fairfield County Fair

Since I'm so far behind on everything, including posting on here, I thought I'd post a few between doing other things. Here are a few from the Fairfield County Fair, including a few of my booth there. The boys had so much fun with their visits there riding rides, playing games and eating. I personally enjoy walking around and seeing people I know and of course eating all of the fair food! It's good that we've got another year until it comes back--I can't survive too many weeks like that!

Lisa and Rick at Ash Cave

Since I have young children, I don't have the opportunity to do a lot of destination weddings, so it is great when the destination wedding comes to me. I had the pleasure of photographing Lisa and Rick's wedding at Ash Cave this weekend. Hocking Hills weddings are always beautiful--the surroundings just can't be outdone. This was even more special with Lisa coming from Indiana and Rick coming from Colorado to meet up for their wedding. Thank you for letting me be a part of your special day. I hope you enjoyed your stay in Ohio!

Lancaster Cares Firefighter Tribute

Sunday my family and I had the pleasure of helping out at the Lancaster Cares tribute to our area firefighters and EMT's. After the crazy last month they have had, it was an afternoon for them to enjoy some well deserved relaxation and tons of yummy foods donated by local individuals and businesses. The firefighters and EMT's deserve to be recognized for doing a job day in and day out that most of us would never dream of doing. I can also honestly say that I was honored to be able to help out this wonderful group of people that I have had the pleasure of meeting from a couple of my favorite local forums, The Lancaster Free Forum www.lancasteroh.myfreeforum.org and Crabby Fat Guy's site www.crabbyfatguy.com I hope that this turns into an ongoing group that is able to continue to give back to our community. Thank you for letting me be a small part of this event and a big thank you to the firefighters for everything you do!
